Dolly
Matryoshka - Colored Pencils
Fall - Cutout
Family - Dry Brush
For this still life, I wanted to pay homage to one of my best and longest friendships. One of my best friends had recently traveled to Russia and brought beck souvenirs for me and her other friends. I really liked the idea of how the dolls could stack and create fewer objects.

Life
Hope - Film Grain
The Point - Fresco
Radioactive - Neon Glow
To set up this still life, I dug out my huge box of used pointe shoes and ordered them from my oldest pair to my newest pair. The first image in this row was the oldest to newest. After I had taken one photograph like that, I made a pile of them and took a few mages that way.

The Tea
Poise - Poster Edges
Angle - Rough Pastels
Light - Smudge Stick
For this still life, I got my moms tea set from the display cabinet (with permission) and set it up in a few different orders. One order I set the pots up in was how they were set up in the cabinet, one was from largest to smallest and lastly, I used a few different angles to capture the images.

Fragrant
Topple - Paint Daubs
Together - Palette Knife
Win - Plastic Wrap
To set up this still life, I got out all of my candles and set them up in a few different orientations. It's important for me to document this through photography because, my candle collection is very special to me and it brings me joy. I wanted to evoke happy emotions as I photographed this.

Spectrum
Pattern - Sponge
Space - Underpainting
Group - Watercolor
Setting up this still life was very fun, because I got to pick out all of my favorite nail polish colors from my collection and organize them in fun, different orientations. I wanted to at least capture one photograph where I had all the polish bottles organized in the rainbow spectrum (hence the title of the first image). Another thing I had to take into account was the brand names of the bottles.
